Grace Mate Poppy” was released in June 1978, and this year marks its 45th anniversary.
This time, at the 19th Glass Bottle Awards 2023, we won the "Special Award" from the Japan Glass Bottle Association.
-The following is an excerpt of the reasons for winning the award-
It became famous for the catchphrase in the TV commercial “Kuruma ni Poppy ♪”, and is still used by a wide range of repeaters both in Japan and overseas. We have selected 5 types of glass bottles for the domestic market and 11 types for the overseas market, all of which have a familiar shape and are produced in factory in Japan.
Grace Mate Poppy became a big boom in the 1980s, but as of 2023, the fragrance and manufacturing method have not changed, and the shape of the glass bottle remains the same. In addition, from around 2019, it became a very popular product in Europe, mainly in the Netherlands, and the production at the factory could not keep up with it.
Grace Mate Poppy celebrated its 45th anniversary. Even in Japan, it is attracting more attention due to the recent Show retro boom.
